Step 1 — Start in India
(Year 1 at RV University)
Begin your studies at RV University, while enrolling in ASU courses and studying the ASU curriculum from Day 1 under the academic mentorship of RV University.
The first year of the program is delivered at the RV University Bengaluru campus and taught by RV University faculty. Students receive full access to RV University student resources, campus life, and support services while building a strong foundation in subjects such as College Algebra, Calculus for Engineers, Principles of Programming, Computer Applications, and Information Technology through ASU’s ULC at RV University.
After successfully completing Year 1, students progress to ASU from Year 2 onward. This pathway is exclusively for progression to ASU and does not offer an option to transfer into RVU domestic programs.
Students will receive a certificate of completion from RV University, along with additional support services including English language test preparation, immersion opportunities, academic advising, and guidance for the U.S. transfer process — helping students prepare for their move to ASU.
Step 2 — Transfer to the U.S. (Years 2, 3 & 4 at Arizona State University)

Get practical guidance on building your portfolio, preparing for interviews, and applying for internships.
These three years prepare you to graduate with the knowledge, credentials, and network to pursue careers in technology, finance, and consulting; further graduate studies; or entrepreneurship — in the U.S., India, or anywhere in the world.
Step 3 — Graduate With an Internationally Recognised Degree, Ready to Work in India, the U.S. or Anywhere in the World.
Earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, awarded by Arizona State University. This STEM-designated degree makes students eligible to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT)*.
Qualifying students can gain up to three years of work experience in the U.S. Many graduates build careers with leading employers in technology, finance, and consulting.

Eligibility Criteria
Admission Requirements - Students must have completed Mathematics in Grades 9–12, along with Laboratory Sciences for at least three years between Grades 9–12 (including subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Integrated Sciences, or Physics). A minimum aggregate score of 60% in Grade XII, including Physics, Mathematics, and English, is required.
Transfer Requirements for Progression to ASU - Students must maintain a minimum Grade B / 3.0 GPA in all subjects during the first two years and meet ASU English proficiency requirements through TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, or Duolingo English Test scores. Official academic transcripts from all institutions attended are required.
Arizona State University offers merit-based scholarships to outstanding incoming international students. Students are automatically considered for this award upon admission to ASU. No separate scholarship application is required.
